Black & Silver

Hi there everyone, hope you are busy crafting....
My card for today is a 6 x 6 plain white base card, l then cut the main matt out of black card using my Tonic layering dies. Tonic dies were also used for the silver matts, with a black matt in between them.
The centre image is a topper l made when l was using my Dreamweaver Pearlescent paste, though it was an ideal piece to use with this card. Then quite simply l made a white bow and attached to the left side.
Hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog and any comments would be appreciated...Thank You.

Teddy Knitting

Once again a change in colour, this card for today is shades of Purple.
Starting with a 6 x 6 plain white card and the background was run through my Ebosser using a corner
embossing folder using some purple co-ordinations and then sanded back to show the lighter colour.
The toppers etc were from Crafters Companion C.D. and everything was on one sheet. The main feature was layered onto a decorative circle cut using one of my many dies. Finishing off once again
with a toning bow.

Ivory Humming Bird

The card l have chose to show you today is a complete change of colour, Ivory, thought it would be
useful for Wedding or Anniversary.
The card itself is an A5 landscape pearlescent ivory, the background, l used one of my embossing folders and trimmed back. The main centre piece is an image using one of my stencils and once again Dreamweavers pearlescent paste. Then choosing different sizes of dies l cut out and layered a little off centre, then added the small tag, this l left so as to put any sentiment using my peel-offs. Adding a small ivory bow finished off quite nicely.
Thank you for visiting my blog any comments would be appreciated.

Glittered Butterflies

My card for today is a 6 x 6 scalloped edge white card.
The background was made using some more of the Papermania Blue Capsule collection and l ran it
through my Ebosser using small dot embossing folder and then inked lightly with Faded Jeans
distressed ink to show detail of the dots. The circle topper was also from this collection and for
the Butterfly embellishment l used my Tonic dies, then just added a little glitter on the actual
Butterflies. Another quite easy card suitable for any occasion.

Blue Capsule

For this card l started with a 6 x 6 plain white card, the background is some paper from the Blue
Capsule collection of Papermania. I completely covered the background and trimmed and rounded
the corners. The lacey hearts of two different toning shades and the rosette was also from the collection. This was a lovely quick and easy card to make, as l only had to add the Best Wishes
peel-off to complete it.

Tones of Black

My card for today is...
Base card is white A5 , landscape, for this time l chose to use some of my masks and stencils.
For the main background l started with the medium dot embossing folder, then afterwards l
placed the lattice mask and held in place and inked with Black Soot distressed ink, also inked
the edges to give lift, the two toppers were made by using two of my stencils and some of
Dreamweavers pearlescent paste, these l made the night before so they would be completely dry.
The strip was just trimmed back, and the oval was cut out using one of my dies. I finished off
by adding a silver bow and card candy in each corner.

Note wallets

This is again another different project, l have made quite a few of these for my Craft stall, and
they are very popular and sell every time.
They are self explanatory really, just a small piece of card folded into three, and in the centre
l place a small note pad and on one side l attach a calendar. The tops l have chose this time a
small pack of decoupage that is one of Docrafts kits, matted and layered onto some silver mirror
card. These finish up just a nice size for using in handbags.

Friends canvas

For todays post l have chosen my latest first time project, a canvas....
The canvas itself is on a frame and is 6 x 6 in size...l tinted the main by using Scattered Straw
distressed ink, l then using versafine pad and Wow pearl embossing powder l stamped a swirl
design randomly, then doing the stamp in hand technique l used a honeycomb stamp. Changing
to using Spiced Marmalade, l stamped a few flowers, again randomly. For the embellishments
l chose three of my ready made flowers in toning colours, attached in the lower left corner with
some pearl sprays. Then using Scattered Straw l stamped out the sentiment and clear embossed.
Cut out using one of my Spellbinders and finished off attaching the two butterflies.

Dolphins

Hi,
Now this is a change.....l have used a 6 x 6 white card this time, nice to work on a smaller space,
the background is some paper once again from my trusty stash, and was inked along the edges with
Tumbled Glass distressed ink, the next layer l used some turquoise blue card and cut a decorative
circle out with my dies, the actual circle l used to layer the decoupaged dolphins on then the "waste"
l placed at the top left hand corner and off-set the topper. Thought this needed something to embellish
the corner and hey guess, what l found some shells so they were placed in the lower corner.

My Friend

My card for today is once again an A5 white portrait card and l trimmed a section off on the
right hand side. The main matt is pink pearlescent card and then l used a deep turquoise colour
card, this was run through my Ebosser with the dotty embossing folder, and for the strip on
the right edge of the inside l matt with the same pink and punched a ribbon to lay on top.
The stamped images are from Crafters Companion, Swalk range, namely "My Sister" but l
thought that it could also be used for friend. I coloured these using both my Spectrum Noirs
Promarkers, these were then cut using my dies and matt onto some of the pink. Adding a few
pink gems just finished off a pretty card.

Beauty

Hi,
The card l have chose to publish today is.....

An A5 portrait white base card, and l came across this topper when doing some sorting out in my craft room, think we all do this from time to time, and find loads of "stuff" that has got pushed to one side. Anyway working around this l made the two pieces of backgrounds using InkyDoodles stamps
this again was the first time on using them, but intend to more. Also made the two ribbons, just in
view, added the Especially for You text cut from my dies, and once again finished off with some card
candy.
Many thanks for visiting my blog, any comments you have would be welcome.

Lighthouse

Hi there everyone,
My card for today is......
For a change  l chose the colour green, which l don't very often work with as the main colour,
The base two matts were two toning greens, one dark and the other a lighter shade in the
pearlescent card. The topper was a decoupage that l found in my stash box of ready made up
toppers, l intend to use them more often it was quite a change from stamping etc. The square
was yet another piece of paper from my stash l thought it was quite nice to give the topper a
lift. I then stamped the text in green and embossed with clear powder onto some white card
and layered onto the dark green, finishing off with a couple of card candy.

Pansies

This card today is yet another for my friends blog challenge at My card creations and is made from a digi-stamp. This is a 6 x 6 white card, thought it was time l had a change, and l chose the two colours to reflect the colours used within the stamp image. The plain purple was trimmed along the right hand side with a small scallop and the yellow swirl was put through my Ebosser with a patchwork design embossing folder, then just tinted a little with Squeezed Lemonade distressed ink. I printed out three of the pansy designs, coloured them and then cut out to make them into decoupage, cutting the base one with one of my dies, also using a smaller die of the same design for the text message. 1 card candy in each of the right hand side corners to finish off.

FrouFrou

My card for today is a change from portrait, but is still an A5 white card.

For this one l chose to use my Serif programme and the Froufrou design from Crafters Companion, l planned my card, changed colour, and then separated the pieces to be able to make my card as normal. The flowers l copied and pasted so to be able to decoupage them, with brads for the centres, the topper was placed on top of a lacey matt that l cut from one of my many dies.
I hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog and any comments would be welcome, Thank You.

Lauren's Birthday

Now this card is rather bright, but l made it for my niece and she is a very bright and breezy teenager, so thought it would be quite appropriate for her.

Once again l started with a A5 white portrait card which l inked the edges with Scattered Straw distressed ink. The base matt was some paper l found within my stash, this was also inked with the same colour. Also found in my stash l found this piece of corrugated card and was just the colour l needed too, how lucky was that. The stamp is l believe one of Dimensions and was coloured with my Promarkers and Spectrum Noirs, then cut out using one of my dies, also the text message. Once again l used my card candy to complete the card.

Teenager

Hi,
My card for today is made using a Digi-stamp, as this was for one of my samples for my friends blog challenge namely My craft creations
The main card is  A5 portrait white and l found the two pieces of paper for the main matt in my stash,
which l embossed in each corner with one of my embossing folders, then cut from corner to corner.
The two digi-stamps were coloured using both my Promarkers and Spectrum Noirs, these were then cut out using my dies, one with the out of the box method and the other l just cut just above her knees, inked around the edges with Faded Jeans distressed ink.  Finished off by placing two sets of three blue candy.

I  do hope have enjoyed visiting my blog and any comments you have would be appreciated, Thank You.

Paintbox poppets

Today I am posting a stepper card. I printed out the image in the card companions section from Crafters companion paintbox poppets cd. All the elements are on one page so everything co ordinates. The stepper card I made using my hougie board, the die shape is the chantilly lace die'sire die. The border is crafters companion die'sire border number 5. Before layering everything on my card I inked the edges of both the die and border with Tim Holtz worn listick distress ink. Then placed all the other elements onto the card.
