Perfume bottles

Hi there, hope you are all busy crafting.....here's my post for today.....
For this card l combined a kit and also some dies,
the main card is a A5 landscape white card, and for the background l used some decorative card left over from one of my kits, the main topper is also from the same kit, l used one of my decorative dies to cut it out and layered it onto the dark red pearl card, this was used throughout the design. Using this card l die cut the perfume bottle, bow and the corner, and backed those with some scrap left over from the main topper, the dotty card.
Nice quick and easy card once again, but l do think that doing this helps to keep that elusive mojo.
I do hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog please leave your comments, thank you.

Niece's 1st Birthday

Hello there.....here's my post for today......
This card was commissioned as a special order, obviously for the customers niece's 1st birthday
The main card is an A5 landscape white card, and the main background is a pretty pale pink card and it was embossed with the medium dotty folder. The stamped image is one of the stamps from the Adorable range, and was coloured once again with my Spectrum Noirs. I then used one of my many dies to cut it out, then placed it slightly to the right. The chequered piece on the left is a Papermania shape. Then going to my Cricut machine l cut out the 1 and the letters in pink and the shadows out using a turquoise to tone with the cushion.
Many thanks for visiting my blog l would love to see you comments.

Naptime

Hello folks, hope you have all coped with the lovely weather we've been having,
My post for today is another sample l have made for my friends blog challenge, My card creations
The main card is a 6 x 6 white card and the background is some pale purple paper from my stash, then l layered a piece of Centura card which had been embossed with the flower folder. From the same purple paper l punched out the ribbon border and wrapped some toning ribbon around it and finished off with a bow. The main image is another did-stamp and was coloured using my Spectrums once more. to finish off this card l chose to add the three flowers on the top right corner with of course a gem in the centres.
Thank you for stopping by, your comments would be most welcome.

Country Theme

Hello there , here's my post for today,  its quite an easy one as it is from using a kit.
I started with an A5 portrait white card for the base and then completely covered it with some of the patterned card that was included in the kit, having placed the patterned border on the right l then placed the narrow strips horizontally to make the look as they are attached to the three toppers used.
Finished off using the small tag, job done.....there l told you it was a quick and easy one.
I do hope you have enjoyed looking at my blog any comments would be most welcome, Thank You.

Love card

Hi there folks, hope everyone is o.k......anyone started their Christmas cards yet, l haven't.....

My post for today is a little different to my usual ones, l found this in one of my Tattered Lace mags. and thought, hey think l'll have a go at this card.
The template was in the mag. and l must admit it did take a while to cut it out but it was worth it don't you think....as it was white card l coloured over all of it with Stormy Sky distressed ink, the floral topper is also a Tattered Lace die, and then l coloured it using my Spectrums once again.
I printed the verse from my P.C., cut it out and also tinted the edges with the same colour ink.
Many thanks for stopping by, and if you would leave your comments they would be greatly appreciated.

Flowers for you

Hi there everyone, hope you like my post for today.......

For this card l chose to use an A5 landscape card, and used the left-overs from one of my kits for the main background, ran it through my Ebosser using the Dotty embossing folder. I used one of my dies to cut the lacey doily for my main image, which is one of the Flower Soft stamps, and l coloured using my Spectrum Noir pens. For the flower arrangement l used Tattered Lace dies and cut them in three different shades of pink. I finished off this card by cutting and placing the "For You" text.
Thank you for visiting my blog and feel free to leave to leave your comments.

Art Deco box

Hi there folks, here is a different post today.....
Having quite a lot left over from one of the Papermania kits, l chose to make this box, its quite a simple box to make once you have sorted out the dimensions, then of course just needs to be decorated in your own way, l have made a few of these now and the measurements l have used means that a medium size candle fits nicely. I had got a few candles in my stash that are in small jars with lids on, l decorated these too.
This is a picture taken to show the inside.
Many thanks for visiting my blog l would be very pleased to hear any of your comments.

Amidst Flowers

Hi Everyone, hope you have been enjoying the recent hot weather.....
My post for today is a card l made by using a digi-stamp off one of the Spectrum Noir DVD's, and chose to use my Spectrum Pencils.
The card itself is an A5 portrait card and l used a pale blue pearlescent matt, which l had previously embossed with the rose design folder. The layer underneath the main image was cut using one of my Tonic dies, and the border also, using the matching punch. These were cut from a lovely shade of pink card and then l placed a strip of the same pale blue card in the centre of it, finishing off with a pale pink ribbon and bow. I really enjoyed using the pencils and think l will get more confident the more l use them.
Many thanks for stopping by, and if you wish to leave any comments they would be most welcome.

Pale Blues

Hello there folks,
for this post l chose this card that l made from using the "waste" from the previous card.
Waste not want not that's what l say, hope you agree......
This is a 6 x 6 card and the background was chosen from some of my 6 x 6 paper packs, keep forgetting about these papers. I just added the oval that was from the previous posted card and added the peel-off "Just for you". Then l made the three flowers with a combination of dies and ready made flowers and added a gem in the centre of each one, also a couple of swirls, and leaves.
Hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog, any comments you have would be very welcome.

Joyce's 90th

Good Morning everyone,
This is yet another order that l took recently, and was ask to make a card for a very special lady, named Joyce becoming the lovely age of 90.
The base card is an A5, landscape white card and l chose to make it this lovely pale blue, and the card has a satin finish. For the main detail l used one of my recent purchases of the Tonic dies, make a card, l must admit these are beautiful. Once again l printed the text for the centre on my computer, in blue. The flowers were also made from using my dies, inked the edges using Faded Jeans distressed ink, and added star shaped gems for the centres. The 90 was cut using my Cricut machine, in silver card, and finished off by adding the butterfly. Once again there was a satisfied customer.
Many thanks for visiting my blog, any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Rolling Pin

Hello all you lovely people, here's my post for today.........
I can remember years ago, brides were usually presented with either a decorated Horseshoe or Rolling Pin, so here's my slant on the Rolling Pin.
The rolling pin is small in size, and l started by wrapping some narrow white satin ribbon around the main pin, l then made some white flowers and attached those down the pin, enclosing some pearl sprays within them. Making a long ribbon attached this at the top to give means for carrying or hanging. I then made a small tag to be used for own sentiments. To complete this l made the box with the acetate window and trimmed with silver peel-offs.
This is a better picture of the finished pin.
Thank you for visiting my blog, any comments you have would be very welcome.

Cot

Hi hope everyone is o.k., here's my post for today.
This is quite a different project, and was cut for me by my friend, Sheila, using her Robo, and she thought that it would be an ideal gift for me to sell on my craft stall.
There isn't a lot l can really say about this, as it is mainly pieces stuck together, embellished in colour of choice. I then placed a small teddy in the bottom corner, added peel-offs around the frame-work, also the little bows. this is a lovely gift for either Birth or Christening.
Many thanks for stopping by to look at my blog, please feel free to leave your comments.
This the cot inside the box made for it with the gift tag attached.

Libbys Christening

Hi there everyone,
My card for today is one that was a special order, for my friends grand-daughters christening, though she is 6 years old so was a little difficult to know what to do as regards design.
I chose to make it an A5 portrait card and the main background is a very delicate lemon, and l put this through my Ebosser, using a medium dotty embossing folder. I then chose one of my Tonic dies for the main central effect and printed out her name for the circle topper. Also using other dies l cut the four corners, these were all cut from Centura pearl card. Finishing of with stamping out the text, "A Christening Wish". My friend was very pleased with the completed card.
Thank you for visiting my blog, l do hope you like what you have viewed, feel free to leave your comments.

Dolphins Box

Hello folks, here's my post for today......
This time l have chosen to show you one of my many boxes that l have been making, think that these are the "trend" and the mo, but l do think that they are very effective and once you have made a few they are quite easy.
For this one l have chosen to use some of my many peel-offs, think that we all have a stash of these, and it is one way of using them up.   For the matting and layering l chose some shaded blue card and matted it onto some holographic mirror card to give a sea image. The dolphin where all coloured using my Spectrum Noirs, and then attached.....
Below you can see one l made for my son's birthday, with the Footie theme, being as that has been the recent sport event.

Many thanks for stopping by to visit my blog, any comments would be most welcome.
If anyone has seen something that they would like to order, different colour etc. please feel free to contact me.

Beige Baby Box set

Hi there folks, hope life's treating you all well......
My post for today is this lovely baby box set, l make these in different colours and do quite well on my craft stall with these...
The set consists of three small boxes, 1 of each, First Curl, First tooth and Hospital bracelet, and the main item is the memory book.
The small boxes are made up to measure 2" square and 1" deep
The memory book is made from 2  6 x 6 cards stapled together to make the book. I use Docrafts Digi-designer to print off the pages inside with cute images on backgrounds etc. the first page having the text added for the recipient to complete.....Date of Birth etc.
I have then embossed some toning card for the first layer on the front, the printed off the text and cut out using one of my many dies, and then embellished to finish off.

Best Wishes

Good morning everyone, hope you have been enjoying the lovely sunshine, hope it continues a little longer this time, winter comes only too quickly don't you think?
My post for today is a little different to what l have been posting, think probably l have maybe bored you with using my kits.
The main card is a DL landscape card and l chose to use this pretty turquoise colour....starting with the background, then the next layer l ran through using an embossing folder. Looking through my stash l found this lovely piece of lace and toning ribbon, so l threaded it through the lace and attached to the lower edge of the design. Using some precut vellum flowers l layered them, after colouring, on top of each other and added some lemon seed beads in the centre using 3D glue to give dimension. I then stamped the sentiment and layered with the same colours and attached to the top right.
I do hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog and any comments you have would be greatly appreciated....Thank You.

Basket of Flowers

Hi there everyone, here's my post for today......
This card is from yet again one of Hunkydoreys kits and l put my own slant onto it, and made it into a A5 gate fold card. Self explanatory really, l chose a pretty pink piece of card and ran it through my Ebosser with a small floral embossing folder and cut into two for the gate folds. Cut the main image into two pieces and layered onto each side of the card, and placed a number of decoupage pieces to give this a lovely finished effect. I then tied a pink ribbon onto the handles and added a pretty little tag.
Thank you for stopping by my blog and any comments you have would be most welcome.

Triple Window

Hi there, have any of you started your Christmas crafting, l haven't as yet, think it comes too quickly as it is but l suppose l will have to start soon.
Here is yet another quickie card, it is made from yet another of Hunkydorey kits, they are so lovely and very reasonable prices.
This was made just by following their instructions, and is basically very similar to a gate fold card with the extra reverse fold for the centre piece. The foiling is such a added feature.
Hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog and any comments you have would be very welcome.
