Tyler's 4th birthday

My post for today is the card l made for my great grandson's 4th birthday on Wednesday past.
The main card is a 8 x 8 scallop edged white card, that l inked with Faded Jeans distressed ink, the first matt l chose the red and the second the blue, which was embossed using the stone wall embossing folder. For the number four l found out of my stash WS designs templates and traced round using a pale blue and then embossed with the dotty embossing folder, matt this onto the red.
The Spiderman figures were "sourced" and then cut out and arranged around the number. He was thrilled to bits with it, so it was a success.

Special Day

Hi there, here's the card l have chosen for todays post.....
I made this card at my regular workshop visit, its amazing what Bhanu at Sunrise Crafts comes up with.
The main design is made using various dies, mainly Heartfelt creations.
This was made colourwise in white pearlescent and a lovely tone of silver grey, of course this could be made using any colour that you wish to choose. The flowers were made using a new die that uses the quilling technique.

Book of Tags

Hi everyone,
My post for today is one of the projects l made for the Hunkydory POD, as l am now one of the members of their design team.
As everything is included within the kit it is very easy. Though this is supposed to be a bag with notelets, l decided, with a little help from my mate, Sheila, to do a little different and come up with this book of tags. Made the main bag structure as the book outer and then made a spine of mountain and valley folds and attached the "cards" as pages. I then made some pockets and made tags and placed inside. Got a mention, by name, of which l was very pleased to hear.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and look forward to reading your comments.

Beautiful Floral

Hello everyone,
Here's my post for today, for this one l chose to use inspiration from one of the many cards featured on Sunrise Crafts website, think we all need a little of inspiration at times.....
The card is white A5 landscape and the matts are silver in colour. The first matt was embossed and layered and the upper most layer was cut using yet another one of my new dies. Flowers were also stamped and embossed and cut using a die, then coloured using my Chameleon pens. Finished off by attaching the white satin bow, a card for any occasion l think.
Thank you for visiting my blog and l look forward to your comments.

No:1 Dad

Hi, Now here's a little something different, l have recently started the new craze of book folding, although this is quite easy it is very time consuming. The pattern l used was from Debbi Moore's C.D. vol. 1. and as it is coming up to Father's Day soon l thought l would give this a try for my stall.
The Red heart and the Mum one sold last time so fingers crossed l will sell more this time too, so more for my local charities. These are available to order if anyone is interested.
Looking forward to reading what you have to say about this post and Thank You.

May all your Dreams

Hi, there sorry this post is a little late but have been rather busy, have now been chosen as part of the Hunkydory design team....
For todays post l have chosen this card l made a few days ago as l bought the stamp and die recently so thought l had better use it.....
The card is A5, portrait and is white, l then chose some pearl for the main matt under the peach coloured card. I used one of Tonic's corner dies and cut leaving them within the card. The topper was used as l said from the new stamp and matching die. I used my Chameleon pens for the colouring.
Thank you for stopping by my blog and l look forward to reading your comments.

Birdhouse canvas

Hi there you lovely people.....
For today l have chosen this canvas that l made recently when l went to a workshop.
For the start of this l chose and cut different widths of paper and made a centre piece by weaving a shape of my choice and glued to the main canvas. Then gave this a thin coating of Gesso, when this was dry the next application was by using stencils and some crackle paint. Once again after drying applied the black by using another stencil. Then for the finishing of this the painted and decorated birdhouse was glued in position, with the swirls and flowers to decorate....l really enjoyed this project and intend to make some more very soon.
Hope you have enjoyed this post, look forward to reading your comments, they do make a difference, Thank You.

My Room

Hi,
My post for today is a nice quick little project, l have made quite a few for my craft stall and are very popular.
The main hanger is made from MDF covered with my chosen backing paper, after painting with the chosen colour as a base. The image is one l chose from one of Docrafts Digi-designer C.D. Then finished off with the words, cut using my Cricut machine, in two colours to shadow them, then topped off with the large "bloomer" flower.
Hope you enjoy visiting my blog, please leave me your comments....Thank You.

Sookie

Good morning there,
For my post today l have chosen a card l made for one of my friends challenges...My card creations
The main card is a 6 x 6 white card and l chose to use the colour purple for the main colour. She is a digi-stamp and l coloured her with my Chameleon pens, which l love, the backing paper behind her is from my stash with large bubbles on in shades of purple so quite a nice complementary paper. I finished off by attaching the purple ribbon and fastened the ends with a purple gem on each.
Thanks for stopping by, please leave me your comments.

Reach for Stars

Hi Everyone, hope you are all busy crafting.....
Here's my post for today
This card start with a 6 x 6 white base card and the main matt of black, l then die cut the main image, one of the Tonic range in black also, l then cut the white from the double sided sticky sheets, and peeled off one side, placed the main image onto this, and then with my "Iced Diamonds" l coated all that was un-covered. Then of course with the other side also being sticky this was so easy to matt onto the main card. An ideal card for any occasion or person.
Thanks for visiting my blog and l look forward to reading your comments.

Baby Feet Book

Hi, hope you are pleasantly surprised in my post for today,
l have discovered the new craze, Book Folding.....
This is the first one l have done and chose to make the Baby Feet one.....
I covered the front and back with baby feet printed background, off Joanna Sheen C.D. Baby Love....
and the image one the front is one of the Swalk range, and coloured using my Chameleon pens...
To make this more stable l made a small tray for the book to stand in and then wrapped in cellophane,
tied with a bow....Going to give this a try at my stall, just as a tester.
Hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog, look forward to reading your comments...Thank You.

Art Deco lady

Hi,
Here's my card l have chosen for todays post.......
This is yet another A5 card, seems my favourite at moment, in portrait position.....
For the main matt l chose some light grey pearlescent card and ran it through with the Argyle embossing folder....then using my Tonic Art Deco dies, first time l've used these by the way, used black and white card, also using the corners that are in the set. The image is from one of Debbi Moore's C.D.'s and l chose to cut her out, also used some glitter on her but the photo hasn't really caught that.
Many thanks for stopping by, please feel free to leave your comments.

Rachels Birthday

Hi everyone,
My post for today is a card l made for one of my friends for her birthday......
The main card is a white A5 landscape white card, and the matting and layering is made from two shades of the pretty Jade/Green. The main centre piece is cut from one of the Greek selection and after cutting l placed it onto some of the double sided sticky paper and then sprinkled the Iced Diamond on to give the beautiful glitter effect. The leaves are trailing Ivy die, and the flowers where stamped, then coloured accordingly. Added a pearl in centre of each flower to finish.
Thank you for stopping by my blog and please leave your comments, l love to read them.
