Gridwork

Hi,
Now here's something really different
I thought l would show you some of my parchment work, and not by using the Groovi system....The background was embossed in the two opposite corners and a little pearl gilding wax added too. The main image l made using a parchment grid, perforated and embossed the chosen designs, l then made the two butterflies and added them too. Finished off by adding some small pearls within the centre.
Hope you have enjoyed this change, look forward to reading your comments, thanks.

Art Deco

Here's my post for today, hope you like them
These were from some of my Mum's craft stash, they were printed images, and l coloured them using my Spectrum Noirs, die cut them out using the out of the box technique, matted onto another die, the main backgrounds were made by using embossing folders, and of course l added a little glitter on the dresses....thanks for viewing my blog, look forward to reading your comments.

Balloons

Hi,
Here's my chosen post for today....
This is one that l made a few weeks ago at Sunrise Crafts, really enjoyed this one as it is useful to both male and female, and is a different type of card...love the colours too. The backgrounds were from a paper pad and the main feature was inked through some sequin waste. The balloons are a stencil and was coloured with distressed inks.....look forward to reading your comments, thank you.

For You

For todays post l decided to show you this one......
It is a design that l did at a workshop at Sunrise Crafts, and l chose these colours to be quite neutral....the background is made using an embossing folder and lightly inked over....the centre piece is a die from the Marianne range, 1 l had forgotten about, as we all do l think, the "For You" is one of Tattered Lace's dies, l then added the flowers in colours to tone in, as also the ribbon.....Thanks for stopping by and l look forward to reading your comments

Charisma Flora

Hi,
I have chosen these two cards that l have recently made using the die and images from the Tattered Lace Charisma Flora....these birds die cut beautifully, and as there is a coloured edge they are so easy to die cut....I cut out three sets and then decoupaged them....was very pleased with the finished effect....l look forward to reading your comments....thank you

Fairies

Hi,
Sorry its been a while since last post, been rather busy, but here's the card l have selected for today
After seeing a photo on Facebook of a similar card using Lavinia stamps l thought l would find mine out and have a play, and this was the result....made the background using my distressed inks and then made the scene up using the stamps, stamping in black Versafine ink.
hope you like this as it is different to what l normally post...look forward to reading your comments....thank you

Workshop - 28.5.16

This mornings post is a card l made on Saturday at Sunrise crafts....a very different card using the base starting as a front fold square card....placed the two edger die cuts which made such a lovely lacey finish. There was then a topper added to the front fold which was embellished with the floral spray...love this idea and will be making more....interested....then contact me kathleen.freeman2@talktalk.net .....look forward to reading your comments....Thank you
