With Love Heart

Hi everyone here's my post for today......
This is a 6 x 6 square card, and the background is  silver patterned card, tho its not too  obvious in the photo, the main topper is cut from one of my Tonic dies, they are so beautiful to use, l then cut the plainer heart for the centre, and the added the doves holding the heart that was also a die. Finished off with the small text tag, once again l found this a quick and simple card, l do hope you like it too.
Many thanks for stopping by my blog, and comments you have would be very welcome.

Widow Bird

Hello everyone, hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather, hope it lasts a little longer, what do you think?...
My post for today is a project l did for my friend Sheila's blog challenge, just check out her challenges they are bril at My craft creations this particular one is a digi-stamp of a Widow Bird, and this was one of my first projects l have coloured with my new Spectrum Noir pencils, quite pleased with the finished effect but am sure l have got room for improvement.
The backing paper is a download, and the spray that l have used to simulate tree branch was one of my dies. This was all matted onto some red card to give some definition. An ideal card for male or female and any occasion.
Thanks for visiting my blog and if you have any comments they would be very welcome.

Lavender Floral

Hi everyone, here's my post for today.....
This is a nice change for me, l don't usually make D.L. cards, but l had this panel left over from one
of my Hunkydorey kits so seeing as it was just the size to for the D.L. card it was quite a quick make, I made the circle topper and layered it onto a larger circle with a lacey edge that was cut using one of my many dies. The flowers and butterfly was made from Martha Stewart clay, and thought that they made the perfect flourish to finish this card off.....Nice, quick and easy.

White and Coral Wedding

Hi, Here's my post for today....
This was a special order l took, and the request was for a Wedding card, and the colours were......White, Coral and Black.
The 8 x 8 base card was made from white Centura pearl card, the background was also pearlescent but coral in colour, trimmed slightly smaller, the upper layer was also used from the same white pearl card and using my Tonic corner dies l cut out the corners, and also the pretty aperture, to enhance the centre image. This image was cut using my Cricut machine, using black pearlescent card. This was finished off by adding their initials and the wording, Wedding Day.
Thank you for stopping by to visit my blog l do hope have enjoyed what you have viewed, any comments would be very welcome.

Pink Roses Heart

Hi Everyone, ....
This is yet another change for me, l think its a pleasant idea to try other types of craftwork, l do hope you agree......
I was looking for different ideas for my craft stall, and having seen the plain wicker heart in a shop in my town, it gave me an idea, so this is what l finished up with doing....
I misted the heart first with some white pearlescent ink, and left to dry over night, l then found some delicate pink ribbon and wrapped it around the heart. The handmade flowers were from my stock, l find it helpful if l have a session of making flowers of different colours. These l placed onto the heart and used my Glue gun to fix in place. Finished off with a piece of ribbon to be used to hang it. To make special for a gift l made the box out of white pearlescent card and just placed the four peel-off corners.
Hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog any comments would be appreciated....Thank You

Decorated Bird House

Hi there everyone hope life's treating you all well,
My post today is something very different for me, l do hope you like it.......
Having recently visited my local craft shop l saw that they had one of these on show that was a recent project at one of their workshops, so l thought l would give it a try.
The main project is made from very fine ply wood, and comes with the twine for using to hang it.
I first inked the background and after it was dry l stamped some flowers and a texture stamp with a slightly darker tone of ink. Then using one of my swirl stamps l stamped the image in the bottom left hand corner and used white embossing powder.  The roof part is made from the corrugated centre of some cardboard from a box and inked with the same darker colour. Having some ready made flowers in stock l place these in the lower left hand corner, and finished off with a couple of butterflies also embossed with white powder.

Art Deco Easel card

Hello everyone,
At my recent Craft stall l had quite a few requests for cards for friends, and l found that this is what l was very low on so l checked in my stash and found some of the Papermania Art Deco kit left over. This kit has been very useful as at the moment Art Deco seems the trend.
I chose to make an easel card this time for a change, so started off with a 6 x 6 white base card and folded it to made the easel. The main background was the themed paper and this was matted onto some black pearlescent card and this was also used to punch out the lacey border, using one of my Tonic punches. The topper was a decoupage image, this was also matted onto the same black card. Toning green ribbon was wrapped over the border, and then this was placed onto some foam pads to give lift as this was used as the stopper. Placed a few of the flowers on top, and having found a text tag with fabulous friend on also placed this onto the upper area.

Trio of Ties

Hello everyone,
Hope you all happily crafting.
Sorry but this yet another card made from a kit, but l do find it helps to get me motivated.
This one was also sooooo simple, this time l made the card landscape, layered some gold mirror card on for the background and then cut the main background card into three, and placed them equally over the card itself, then placed the three ties, the middle one a little higher to the others, using some silicone glue to give a little height, finished off with two sets of three of the buttons also included in the kit.

Tool Box

Hello everyone, ....thought it was time to show you something different.......
This is one of those recently produced designs which seem to be very popular, l have made quite a few they are very popular on my stall and have made quite a few different themed ones, this time l thought it was time to think about the men, so l came up with this one. The tools were made by using one of my stamps that l had completely forgot about, think must all have some of those......they were stamped and embossed with silver powder and l then stamped the handles etc on some green card to match the box that itself was made from green for the base and then l used some matt silver card for the matts, running through a dotty embossing folder for the steel effect. The quirky sentiments were also from the same set of stamps, really must remember that l have these and use more often......
Many thanks for stopping by and comments you have would be welcome.

Just for You

Hello there, todays post is another one from my kits, sorry hope this doesn't bore you all, but l do find that this helps to get my mojo back.
I started with a 6 x 6 white card and folded it to make the easel design. Bu just cutting into one of the background card that's included l managed to get it all from one sheet. The topper came in two pieces so l decided rather than place them as designed l placed some silver mirror card behind the largest one then just twisted the centre one, thus showing some of the silver. Just added the little text tags as the stopper, and there we are card finished.

Green Vellum pocket

Hello everyone,
My post for today is this card that is one of the ones l made using one of Hunky Dorey kits, and
was made from some left overs from the actual kit, as they say you can made many more than the
kit states. I am sure you are all as frugal as l am......
Once again it is a A5 portrait white base card, and the background is half of one of the background
sheets,, this didn't really need much more, mated it onto some mirror card, and the found some of
the lovely shade of green vellum, punched the edge, and wrapped it around the bottom half of the
card, then after tucking the tag into this l added a matching bow, and text tag, finishing off with
a butterfly made from one of my many peel-offs.
Thank you for visiting my blog, any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Embossed black

Hi, this is my post for today,
The base card is a white A5 landscape card, and for this design l decided to make use of some of my
embossing folders. The background one is a flourish, and the topper is a smaller flourish, sorry l
can't remember whose. I then stamped out the sentiment, matted both of these onto some black card
and used Black Soot distressed ink to tint all of these, darker in places to give some depth. Just to
put a little colour in l wrapped some red velvet ribbon across and added some red gems, l thought
that this card would suit any person male or female.

Acetate Front

Hi there everyone, probably like everyone l have recently had a bit of a inspiration block, so l
decided to work through the many kits that l have purchased over the last few weeks, bargain
ones of course, we can't miss out on those....
There isn't much that l am able to say about them really as they are self-explanatory, and on
most of them l just followed the instructions that came with them, but l have found that many
are such a different design, and hopefully they will be a success on my stall. This one as you
can see has the verse on the back, and the wrap goes over, this folds flat to go in envelope for
posting.
Hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog, any comments would really be appreciated.

Clematis Flourish

Hi there everyone
my post for today made with a 6 x 6 white base card and the main background was made with some purple glitter card, from my stash, just trimmed slightly to show the base white. The next layer is made from white Centrura pearl card and the stamp l have used is one of Indigo Blu collection, using flitta glue, then gilding flakes, l thought this was a nice change from embossing powder etc. For the colouring l used my new Spectrum blendable pencils. Trimmed the topper just short once again and then cut the corner using once again my Tonic dies. Added the two butterflies and the three gems to finish off this design.
Thank you for visiting my blog any comments would be appreciated.

Catch of Day

Hello there,
This is my post for today, l have been scheduling recently as l sometimes find it rather difficult to find the time to keep my blog upto date.
This card was made for my friends challenge as l am on her design team My Craft Creations please take a look.....The main card is a 6 x 6 white card and l inked the edges with Scattered Straw distressed ink, after colouring the main Digi-stamp image with my Spectrum Noirs, l chose to use the pale turquoise for the next layer, cutting out the lace edge with one of my Tonic dies. I then cut the image using the Oval layering dies also of Tonics, bringing in the lemon once again. Finished off this card by using four card candy.

Budlia Box

Hi there everyone, my post for today is....l know you are saying not another box...lol
But l have found that these are rather addictive, to me anyway,
this time l have chosen to do this floral one and for the flowers l used one of Little Claire stamps, then l coloured them using my Spectrum Noirs. For the box l chose a piece of Topsy Curvy card, dual shades of lilac/purple. For the butterflies l used some of my many peel-offs, if you are like me have got loads, some of these were used on the main design and the others on the sides of the box.
Hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog, any comments are welcome.

Tylers 3rd birthday

Hi there,
My post for today is a card l made for my great grandson, Tyler.
Quite a quick and easy card as l got the pictures from a source not to mention........
Printed off the different Thomas, and friends and matted onto some mirror card, the base card is a A5 landscape blue card and l chose a darker blue mirror card for the background, ran it through my Ebosser using my dotty embossing folder, then placed the images and finished of by cutting out the 3,
once again with my Cricut machine......these days really making use of my previously neglected machine. He was chuffed to bits with it, it was a pleasure to see his reaction.
