Celebrate in Style

My post for today is this card l made using stamps that where included within a magazine.
This time l chose to make it a D.L. card and started with using black for the main matt, and the pale yellow was from my stash, and l stamped some extra detail using a darker yellow, more of a gold.
For the main image l stamped twice, once onto the white card panel, then onto some of the same background paper and paper pieced her dress and hat. Embellished by wrapping the black ribbon around the bottom left corner, adding a bow, and large button. This was then finished off by adding the text tag upon the top left corner, and a few black gems.

Baby Door Hangers

Hi there everyone,
My post for today is these two door hangers.....
This is quite different to what l normally make, but thought l would give it a try, I started by painting the base hanger with Acrylic paint, and l chose to do one in pink and the other blue.
I then stamped the images, using some Swalk stamps and coloured using my Chameleon pens.
Just to finish off l scattered some star peel-offs.
Thank you for stopping by and l look forward to reading your comments.

Megan's 21st Birthday

Hi,
My post for today is a card l was commissioned to make for one of the volunteers at the hospital where l have my monthly Craft stall.
Her instructions were that it was for her grand-daughter, aged 21, and loved BMW cars, this is what l made for her......
I made the background paper using my Digi-designer programme, using the BMW badge image, this l matted onto some toning blue paper. The car images were also 'sourced' and were matt and layered onto black card. The name letters were cut from my Xcut die, cutting in blue and also black to give off set shadow, and the 21 was cut using my Cricut machine also matt onto black. So as to give it a feminine feel l added the die cut swirls, in silver with off set black, and also the pale blue flowers using my Tonic punches.
She was absolutely thrilled with it and gave me extra to what l priced it at.
Hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog and feel free to leave my your comments.

Birdsong

Hi there,.....
This is another card l made using the same stamps from issue 16 of the Creative Stamping magazine.
This one was a little more straight forward one to make, l started by colouring the background with my Distressed inks, blending them to give effect of grass and sky. I then just used black ink and stamped the various images to make the scene. Just added a little colour within the birds. Still using the stamps l stamped the topper, in black also, and matted it onto some black card, then attached into place.
I do hope you like what l have been working on, thank you for stopping by.

Birdsong Celebration

Hi, Everyone,        here's my post for today.........
As l have so many magazines including stamps, l am wading through making cards with them, trying to make at least two per magazine.
This one was from Creative Stamping, issue 16......
I chose to use an A5 portrait white base card, and the main background matt is some blue glitter card.
The whole topper is on one piece of white card, stamping the large flower down the left side, and the floral swirl border on the right hand side, and was embossed with clear powder. These were then coloured using my Chameleon pens, l then wrapped some green ribbon down the centre before attaching to the main card. The two central toppers were also using the stamps from the collection and coloured with the same pens, matted onto some gold mirror card after being cut with one of my dies.
Thanks for stopping by and l look forward to your comments.

Groovin

Hello , and good morning
Here's my post for today.......
This card is one of my samples for the challenge on My craft creations do go and take a look and maybe have a go, there are some lovely prizes, and good luck.
For this card l chose a A5 landscape folded card and chose to use some purple glitter card for the main matt, l then found some darker purple satin card and cut the ribbon border. The image is a digi-stamp and this was also coloured using various shades of purples, blonde hair and l glazed over her glasses with some glossy accents. this was matted onto the same purple satin card as was the guitars cut from the same and added onto some gold mirror. Finished off by using some music notes peel-offs.

Aged to Perfection

Hello everyone,
Here's my post for today.......
This card is a 6 x 6 plain square card and the striped backing paper is from my stash,
For the toppers l chose to use some stamps that were included with the Creative Stamping magazine, issue 18. One of my New Years resolutions it to go through my pile of magazines that have stamps included and make at least two cards from them, so this is where l have started.....
The stamps have stamped out beautifully, and l used my Spectrum Noirs to colour.
Once the colouring was completed l cut out using one of my dies, inked the edges and then placed onto my main card. Finished off using some card candy in toning colour.
Thank you for visiting my blog and look forward to reading your comments.

Flowers for Mom

Hi,
Are you all back to crafting, hope so, l have made a New Year resolution to try to wade through as much of my unused stash, kits, etc. I have been going through everything and l couldn't believe how much l have, am also going to give it a try to resist any new "stuff".

My card for today is one of my samples for my friends blog My craft creations do go and take a look and have a go, and good luck, she has some lovely prizes in store.
The card itself is a 6 x 6 white square card and the main background is made from two different shades of blue papers, the one on the left l punched a decorative edge to, and attached the waste on the opposite edge, waste not want not aye, the topper is a digi-stamp and l used my Spectrum Noir pencils to colour with, then used a Tonic scalloped oval die. I left this without any text etc. as when at my stall l can then place either age, name or whatever is required.
Thank You for visiting my blog and l look forward to reading your comments.

My first card for 2015 is one that l made from remains of a kit, and made it as a A5 landscape card, mainly keeping to black and white with some silver. Embellished with some swirls using my dies, and also the text tag, plus a few feathers of course.
