Gone fishing

A flippin men stamped image coloured with spectrum noir pens. This is cut out using a die from my evergrowing collection, inked around the edges and matt onto black card. A piece of rectangle card from my bits box matt onto black card. All this is layered onto an A5 card to which I stamped a border at the top, my sentiment and sign post are also from the flippin men range, after stamping and colouring they are placed onto the card.

3 decorations I made using beads from beaders companion. Using pipe cleaners and the crystal beads I followed the instructions that came with them, they are so easy to make and look really great when the light shines through them. These are available for sale if anyone is interested please email at kathleen.freeman2@talktalk.net.

Motor Bike duo/ others

Hi there, don't the weeks seem to be flying
will soon have to start making my Christmas cards, yes that dreaded C word.....
I have made this and two other different motor bike cards for my stock for my craft stall, as l was asked if l had any with motor bikes, l had made a couple but obviously had sold them and not made a note of it, so for this one l chose to stamp the two images onto card and coloured using both blue and black, embossed them with silver embossing powder to give the chrome effect. these were then trimmed to the rectangle shape and matt and layered onto both black and gold card, then placed onto a A5 landscape card, with the background made from a piece of card from remains of a Hunkydorey kit. Added the Best Wishes tag and three gold card candy....below are the other two that l made a little different, as l don't like to do same.

Leanne's birthday

Hi everyone,
This card l made for my grand-daughters birthday earlier this month, she really loves the verses and sayings that are around nowadays, so that is why l chose to include one from Patience Strong as the main topic for the card. The card itself is a 8 x 8 scalloped edged card and the main background is a very pale green paper patterned with some leaves. The topper was cut using one of my spellbinders and was inked around the edges with Spun Sugar distressed ink. The spray underneath the flowers was cut from, l think it was a Marianne die, flowers were made by what l call the Sue Wilson way, which l love making. These were placed onto a pretty green bow, and three toning pins were inserted. Finishing off with gems in the three corners.  Pleased to say she was thrilled to bits with it.

Big Shoes

Good morning everyone,
Here's my post for today.....
Yes you have guessed it, it is another 6 x 6, but a scalloped edged one this time....
I chose to use the striped paper for the main background, which l traced round the card and cut just short of the line to pick up the scalloped edge, as l had chose shades of purple/lilac, l found in my scrap bin some strips in shades l required, these were then punched to made the borders using my Tonic punches. The image is a digi-stamp, and was coloured using a mixture of both my Spectrums and Promarkers. The flowers were made to co-ordinate, using the petal pairs punches and added to the swirl. Finished off this card by adding the Best Wishes tag and the card candy....job done.
Thank you again for visiting my blog and hope you will leave your comments.

Apple Blossom

Hi everyone,
Seems that it the year has flown, signs of the Autumn on the horizon don't you think,
anyway here's my card for today......
As this is a 6 x 6 card, its seems l have got a new favourite, for now anyway....
the whole card was covered by some lovely pink pearlescent card that l first embossed using another favourite.....the whole of the topper and the decoupage was made by using a kit from Flower Soft, nice, quick and easy, think we all like to make these from time to time, though l had selected to put a Happy Birthday peel-off on l think this card would do for any occasion.

Putting on the Ritz

Hi there......here's my post for today.....
This is a little different from my recent posts, l chose to make an easel card, and in my stash l found some of the Papermania Art Deco left from previous makes. I quite frequently buy the Ultimate sets from Papermania, they last ages. For the main card l chose the white and silver backing paper which is foiled, the topper was easy, l just matted onto black card, glittered it of course and then added it to the easel part, tucking some feathers underneath. For the stopper l chose the text tag, also matted onto black card, finished off using a few of the glitter flowers.
Thank you for visiting my blog, hope you have enjoyed what you have seen, please leave your comments.

Adoption

Hi there folks, hope you are all keeping well....
here's my card l have chosen for today.....
This card was commissioned for a customers friend who have just adopted a little girl, and l was asked to make this as she had searched for an adoption card...
The main card is a 8 x 8 white card and for the background l chose the lovely shade of pink, and rounded the corners.  The two borders were cut by using on of my many Tonic border punches, and it just begged for ribbon to be threaded through, so narrow pink ribbon was added. The image is one of the Swalk stamps and was coloured using my Spectrum Noirs. This was then cut out by using a die, added central on 3D foam pads, and then added a small pink bow at the top. The two text tabs were also from the same stamp set, l thought that these just finished off the card.
Many thanks for stopping by, and any comments would be most welcome.

Violinist

Hi there everyone, .....here's my post for today....
This is a 6 x 6 card and the main background is one l have chosen from one of my 6 x 6 paper
stacks, then with choosing this colour l coloured the digi-stamp with my Spectrums keeping the
same shades with darker colour for the texture folds. This was then cut out using one of my dies
and then matted onto some silver mirror card. The flower and leaves were made from paper clay,
l left the space at the top right hand corner, as this is ideal for personalisation, which l am asked
for quite often on my stall.
I do hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog, any comments you have would be very welcome.
Thank You.

August 2014

Hello everyone, here we go for my post for today....
Back to card-making, this is made using the August project from Little Claire, and everything came included as usual, except for the colouring materials. As this was on the project sheet and it really struck me a a lovely design, so l thought l would follow suit. The colouring was done by using my Spectrum Noirs as normal, l love this card as it could be used for any occasion ideally to cheer any person up.
Hoped you have liked what you have seen and please feel free to leave any comments.

Baubles

Hi there everyone here's yet again something different.....
These projects were made using two of the Hunkydorey kits, and l really enjoyed making these, so simple but very effective l think.
Not a lot l can say really as these came with the instructions and was made by just scoring the many circles, folding and gluing together, the ribbon was added just before you attach the whole bauble together. The ones above were the gold trimmed ones and the below picture was the silver trimmed ones, also in different colours. These are the first items l've made for my stall, l do hope my customers like them.

Floral Wreaths

Hi everyone, hope you are still getting the lovely weather where you are,
Here's my post for today.....
This is completely different to what l usually do but l did enjoy making these, these two wreaths were from the Create and Craft members freebie, only postage to be paid. There was the two circles and the heart, you will find these pictures below. Everything came in the kits, including the die-cut flowers, ribbon and some card candy. Making these was such a lovely change from card-making.

Cottage Garden

Good morning everyone, hope you are enjoying the lovely sunshine....
here's my post for today....
This card is....yes another A5 landscape one, l do like this size and also my 6 x 6, anyway here we go ... the background is a lovely shade of peach, and the next layer is a pale green that l ran through my Ebosser, using the small flower folder. The main topper is from Flower Soft, and is decoupaged, and matt onto the same peach card as the background. I had some of the flower soft in a pink mixture, and some purple, just to give a little highlight. I added the two tags with the text.
Many thanks for visiting my blog and do hope you have enjoyed what l have posted, any comments would be very welcome.

Blue Fairy

Hi there everyone, here's my post for today....
I started with an A5 landscape white card and rounded the corners....l then found some of the lovely pale blue paper and using my Tonic border punches l made the lacy edges for the inner side.
The topper is one of my digi-stamps, and coloured with my Spectrum Noirs in shades of blue, then cut out using my dies, and matt it onto some silver mirror, l know it looks like gold but l promise you it is silver, also the swirl. Finished off with two flowers also made from a Tonic product, petal pairs.

Tattered Lace floral

Hi here's my post for today.....
As l have absolutely loads of dies, l have told myself l really must use them more, so my card for today is one l have very recently made. Once again l chose to use an A5 landscape white card, and the background is a very pale blue piece of card, l left this plain as I didn't want to distract from the main design. I started by embossing the smaller centre piece with a floral design, the main floral die is one off one of the Tattered Lace magazines, l then coloured it using my Spectrums, and placed it pretty central. After looking through my corner dies l found this one and used a similar blue for these. Think card would be good for any occasion.
Many thanks for stopping by, l would love to hear your comments.
