Ferrero Rocher

Hi Everyone,
Now this is a complete change for me and also very easy.
I made these to take to my next booking of my craft stall, l try to make and sell different things other
than cards, gifts etc.
As l had recently been to a demonstration day, and saw these made, l thought hey perhaps l will give
them a try. They are very easy to make and involve a small base inside with a circle cut out for the
chocolate to nestle in, then just an outer wrap for the finished effect. By adding a small bow it makes
a lovely little token gift.
Many thanks for passing by and viewing my blog, any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Baby Boy

Hi there everyone, my card for todays post is one l have made for birth of a baby boy.
The main card is a 6 x 6 white card, and for the two tone matt l found some co-ordinating blues
in my "bit box", these l punched using one of my EK punches. The square doily for the topper
is cut using one of my many Tonic dies, then inked on the edged with Faded Jeans distressed ink.
As l have now recently restarted to use my Cricut machine, (thanks to my friend Sheila), l cut the pram and shadow from the New Arrival cartridge. The tiny butterflies are the "waste" from the die.

Shopaholic

Hi, here's my post for today....
I had took it quite easy these last few days, mostly making cards from my kits etc....guess what....
here's another, sorry promise to change this phase over the next few days.
The main card is made from a very pale pink pearlescent card and using my Hougie board l embossed some diagonal lines in two opposite ways. For the main topper l cut a frame from silver mirror board, and a plain one from a darker pink, then just tucked in the decoupaged topper at an angle. Finished off by placing two corners cut with my Spellbinders in the same darker pink.
Many Thanks for stopping by, please feel free to leave any comments.

Happy Birthday

Hi there, back to my normal shape card now,.....
Starting with an A5 white portrait card, and sorry if l seem to have got into a rut, but this was alaso made from the Crafters Companion Inspiration set. The patchwork background was printed off the latest resource C.D. to be  used with the embossing folders, tho l have found that the embossing only lines up with the design about a third of the way down the A4 paper. Anyway, the way l have used it, it doesn't really show. After matting and layering the toppers l added a few of my paper clay flowers as an embellishment.

Poppies

My choice for today is a card that l made the other afternoon, and for a complete change l decided to do a little inking, using a mask.
This mask is a new one that l have recently purchased from my local craft shop, its unusual for me to buy masks but this one took my eye.
I found this very easy, by just inking with two shades of red,....Worn Lipstick and Aged Mahogany, and also Pine Needles for the stems and leaves. This was then trimmed and layered onto some red card, the same as the sentiment was layered onto. I really enjoyed working with this method was quite a nice change.

Decoupaged Roses

For this card l chose to change my usual shape and make this concertina card.
For the main background l chose some of the backing papers from the Crafters Companion Inspiration set, also some of the rosebud one to matt onto the underside fold. As l had chose to use a white Centura Pearl card l thought l would leave the top fold plain. Using one of my Keepsake embossing boards l made the topper base, then using one of my die cut decoupage images placed this in the centre. Trimmed with some silver swirls and corners, and finished off with a butterfly.

Bundle of Joy

For my post today l have chose this card that was made using the papers etc from the latest Crafters Companion Inspiration pack. The base card is a 6 x 6 white card, and the background is made by using the lovely pale green paper, then by just matting and layering the toppers using my tonic layering dies giving it some height. Finished off this quick card by attaching the tag and paper buttons.
