Deans Birthday
Hi folks,
hey l'm being really good posting like this hope l keep it up.
This card was yet another commission, and l was asked for the theme to be for a Formula 1 fanatic,
so l started off by using a 8 x 8 small scallop edged card and then googled for images, l then used
Digital Designer programme and made a background paper with the chequered flag on, and resized
photo's and trimmed. Then l used black card and matted some textured red paper and cut strips of
black card and made a faux notice board and tucked the photo's at different angles. To finish off
his name and 45 were cut using my Cricut machine both these were in red and shadowed in black.
This was for my friend that's on checkouts at Asds and was for her son, she was chuffed to bits
with it. Many thanks for visiting my blog and if you wish to leave any comments they would
be greatly appreciated.

Art Deco
hello folks
Think l spoke too soon yesterday as regards the weather, its continually raining here, hope its
better where you are.
My card today is one that l have made from the remains of an Ultimate kit that l purchased
from my local craft shop, and as we all do push leftovers to one side, thought l would get
something made out of it.
Starting with an A5 portrait white main card, and trimmed almost all the front off leaving a
small border, then attached a piece of acetate that l had run through my Calibur using a corner
embossing folder. On the inside l covered the back of the card with the matching Art Deco
paper, also the small inside border. Completed by attaching the decoupaged topper.
A quick and simple card but quite effective.
Thank you for visiting my blog, and if you have any comments they would be greatly appreciated.
Hope you visit again.

Text Wedding
Hi everyone, hope the weather is treating you well as it is here in Burton on Trent, its been gorgeous
today, do hope it continues.
My card for today has been designed for a wedding card, and is an A5 landscape white base card,
l then used Centura Pearlescent white with hint of silver and ran it through my Calibur using one of
my embossing boards and after die cutting two scalloped ovals matt it onto silver mirror card with
smaller scalloped oval cut out so as to give the impression of a frame. The Wedding dress image is
a stamp set l recently purchased and the dress is made up entirely using words appropriate to wedding
and the other text. Before attaching this to the main card l wrapped some organza ribbon around and
then tied a bow attaching a cross charm.
Thank you for visiting my blog and hope you will leave me comments.

Sympathy cards
Hi everyone,
here's a couple of cards that l have made from a Hunkydorey kit that my Mum passed onto me, to add
to my stock for my stall at the local hospital. They were pretty straight forward to make, and l think that the pictures explain it all really. The first one l made in a very delicate lilac, and the other is a
pale beige colour. It was a pleasant change to make these as l don't usually use kits.
Hope you like what you see and thank you for visiting my blog, all comments are welcome.

Steve's Birthday
Good Morning everyone, seems l'm really on a roll, ......hope you are o.k.
Its my son's birthday tomorrow, and as usual found it hard to decide what theme to do for him,
but as he has started to go back golfing thought, hey now that's an idea......
so, l chose a 8 x 8 card and printed off the backing papers from Hinny Bop C.D...."For the Men in your Life" ,there are two contrasting designs, so chose the darker one for the base, and die cut a shape out of the other inking the edges with Vintage Photo. I then stamped the image and coloured using my Promarkers, inking the edges once more. The SON was cut using my Cricut machine then finished off with some embellishments from my stash.
Thank you for visiting my blog, any comments would be very welcome....

Zentangled Shoes
Hi Folks,
Hey! .... don't go into shock l am posting again, can't believe it myself, hope l manage to keep it up...
Here's my card for today....
I have recently bought the new Chloe stamps, so thought l would use them with this card, l chose a
A5 black card and landscape, for the main matt l stamped the lovely flourish, that's included in the set, ...with my Momento black ink. For the image l used the same ink, then sat, working the Zentangle, l find this is a lovely relaxing technique. when finished l matted it onto black card and
attached a bit on the slant, finishing off with the text, which is also included in the set, this was also
matted onto black card. Quite an easy uncomplicated card, but quite affective.
Many Thanks for taking a look at my blog, any comments you have l would really appreciate.

Lady in Pink
Hi Everyone, hope you are well, weather back to normal as its raining at the mo, but still rather warm...
My card today is, yes you have guessed it, its an A5 portrait, and the main matt is some paper l had left from another card l have made that was printed from one of my C.D's...Crafters Companion, Paintbox Poppets, l then ran it through my Grand Calibur using my swirl embossing folder, then rubbed lighted over with Faded Lipstick distressed ink to accentuate the embossing. The image is a Saturated Canary digi-stamp, and coloured using my Spectrum Noirs, and cut using my new Tonic dies in a toning pearlescent card, inked the edges again with the same ink, also added the text in the smaller die. Finished off with placing card candy in the two opposite corners.
Hope have enjoyed visiting my blog, and if you have any comments they would be greatly appreciated.....Thank You.

Mark 2013
Hi Everyone, so sorry that l haven't posted for a while but whilst the weather is good l find that l am
rather busy in the garden etc, those weeds grow if nothing else does......anyway to my card......
This is a commission for my friends, grandson's birthday, and he is a motor bike fanatic, so l chose
to start with a Landscape A5 black card, l found some teal coloured card for the main colour, thought
it would be a nice change for a male card. I stamped the images onto white card in black and embossed with clear powder, added a little colour, teal and silver, then cut out, using my spellbinders, made a frame out of the same Teal card, and matted onto some black for definition. Before attaching my main matt l wrapped two pieces of black ribbon over the corners. Found some cogs in my stash and coloured with my Promarkers and rubbed a little of my bronze gilding wax to "age" them. His name, l cut using silver mirror card and shadowed with black, with my Cricut machine Here's hoping he likes what l have done.
Hope you have enjoyed taking a look at my blog, and that the long wait was worth it.....any comments would be gratefully received...Thank You
