Hi Everyone, please accept my apologies for not blogging regular, still trying to get into a routine,
This card was, as stated in the title, for Bethan's 21st birthday, she is my grandsons girlfriend,
The main card is a 8 x 8 white, with small scallops on three edges, the backing paper is from my stash
and was put through my Calibur using a large spot embossing folder, l then lightly inked with Black Soot distressing ink. The main image was made using my new Tonic dies, mounted onto first white and secondly onto black to give more lift. The manikin l "dressed" using a Kanban stamp and paper
pieced also used 3 clear gems. Finished off making toning flowers and silver swirls, and the corner
pieces were waste from the die cutting.
Many Thanks for visiting my blog and any comments you wish to make would be very welcome.
Cardmaking is my main hobby, and in doing so l sell them to raise funds for local Charities, l choose a different one each year. I also take special orders. If you would like to leave any comments they would be greatly appreciated. I do hope you like what you see.

Christmas Sleigh
Hi Everyone,
Do you feel like me that Christmas is creeping up on us very quickly now....here's a card l made a
few days ago.
I started with a white blank card and turned it landscape and the first matt with dark green, then
embossed the next matt, tho sorry its not showing up very well in pic. The toppers were from the
Crafters Companion Inspiration pack, these were matt onto red mirror card, the sleigh was die-cut
from some beige pearlescent card and l coloured some of the embossing with my Promarkers to
highlight. Finished off with a couple of metal snowflakes from my stash.
Hope you like the finished card, and thank you for visiting my blog, l am getting there slowly but
surely. Any comments would be welcome.

Christmas Spirelli
Hi everyone,....yes its me....
its been such a long time to be able to craft and blog, so nice to be back, l might not be posting to full potential as my wrists are still rather weak, but l am determined to do my very best. They told me at the time that it would take a long time to recover due to the trauma that l had, especially with my left arm, and yes l am left-handed too......anyway here we go.....
This card is a 6 x 6 white scalloped base card, l found the blue patterned paper in my stash l then ran it through my Calibur with a embossing folder, then high-lighted with faded jeans distressed ink. The Spirelli toppers l also found tucked away in my stash, wrapped blue metallic card round the large one then silver around the smaller one, added a couple of snowflakes that l die cut. I also wrapped a length of white narrow ribbon with silver Happy Christmas on the lower part of the card.
Hope you all rejoin my blog and many thanks for being very patient, hope l don't dis-appoint you all. Any comments would be greatly received.....Thank You again

Sorry for no postings.
To all my followers and friends, I will not be able to post for a while. I have had a bad fall, which left me with both my wrists broken and one of my shoulders. I will post once I am ready to craft again.

Tilly Daydream
Please accept my apologies for being late on posting, l blame the weather...haha.
These two card were made from the Tilly Daydream Ultimate pack that l purchased recently
from my Craft Shop, and after finding the "Spinner" cards in my stash l thought l would make
a couple up from the decoupage section. They are self explanatory really as l layered toning
backing papers on the main card and then put the decoupage onto the spinner part. Very quick
two 6 x 6m cards, but quite effective don't you think?
Many thanks for visiting my blog and if you have any comments they would be welcome.

Rose Duo
Hi,
My card for today is a 6 x 6 white square base card, for the pink matt, l used my Gold Shine sparkle medium from Imagination Crafts, and used one of my masks to apply it, and chose the
one with sprays of leaves. The topper was cut from one of my Spellbinders, and l inked through
whilst it was still in the die using Faded Lipstick distressed ink to give a hint of colour. The
flowers and leaves were made from my newly bought paper clay, they were also coloured with
the same ink. A card suitable for any occasion l think.
Hope you like my card and would be happy for any comments, and thank you for visiting my blog.

New Arrival
Good morning everyone,
Thought l would post this morning for a change so here we go here's my card for today.
This is a change, its a 6 x 6 cream card and the main matt is some paper out of my stash
that was appropriate for this design. As it has small dots l co-ordinated with putting it
through my Calibur using a larger dotty folder, then lightly tinted it with Faded Lipstick
distressed ink to bring out the dots. I then, using my nesties cut out the darker pink, that
is some mulberry paper, then a larger matt in cream. the main image is a recently bought
die of Marianne collectables that includes the stamp for the "baby", think it is so cute. I
finished off by die-cutting a couple of corners also inked on edges.
Thank you for visiting my blog and hope you like what l have done, any comments are
welcome.

Black & White
Hi Everyone
Hope you aren't all sizzled with the weather, but it is nice to be able to enjoy the garden, thus l am
a little late on keeping up with my posts.
For this card l chose a black landscape style, and delved into my stash and found these dotty papers
that match, these were matt and layered with each other to form the base, and l offset them. The shape was yet again in my stash, and the flowers had been floating about on my desk after l had been playing with the new Tattered Lace set, both the floral and the sentiments, so l made the arrangement for the left corner and added the sentiment in the top right. Finished off cutting a swirl
out of some of the off-cuts. This was a pleasant change to work just in black and white.
Hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog and if you have any comments they would be greatly
appreciated...Thank You

Peppa Pig
Hi folks,
Hope you are all having good weather, its been very muggy here today, but looking forward to
the sunshine they've given out for the next few days.
My card for today is once again another commission, am doing quite well for these just lately,
this one is for my friend that is on the checkout at Asda, and she asked for Peppa Pig theme as
its for her Great Grand-daughter who is two.
I chose a 8 x 8 scalloped white card for the base, and for the images l Googled and took them
into my Digital Designer programme, made the backing paper and traced out to follow the scallops.
The no: 2 and "Birthday Blessings" l cut with my Cricut machine, and shadowed with pink glitter
card. Attached the two pics of Peppa Pig, and card completed.
Thank you for visiting my blog and hope you return....any comments are welcome.

Two Colours
Hi everyone
Hope you are all well, busy crafting hopefully.
My card today is an A5 portrait dark beige pearlescent base card and the main matt is of a lighter shade, trimmed with a wavy edge. The main image is a KanBan stamp and l stamped with my distressed inks and lightly coloured with a hint, then l cut out using my Spellbinders and also cut a larger size in the same colour as the main card. The rosette was made by punching out a border and scored using my Hougie board, joined up and made the rosette and topped with a text topper. This was made for a 65th birthday commission, it also was submitted as a sample for the "Craftateers" blog...."Two Colours" Hope you go to visit this blog as there are many lovely designs to look at.
Thank you for visiting my blog and any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Deans Birthday
Hi folks,
hey l'm being really good posting like this hope l keep it up.
This card was yet another commission, and l was asked for the theme to be for a Formula 1 fanatic,
so l started off by using a 8 x 8 small scallop edged card and then googled for images, l then used
Digital Designer programme and made a background paper with the chequered flag on, and resized
photo's and trimmed. Then l used black card and matted some textured red paper and cut strips of
black card and made a faux notice board and tucked the photo's at different angles. To finish off
his name and 45 were cut using my Cricut machine both these were in red and shadowed in black.
This was for my friend that's on checkouts at Asds and was for her son, she was chuffed to bits
with it. Many thanks for visiting my blog and if you wish to leave any comments they would
be greatly appreciated.

Art Deco
hello folks
Think l spoke too soon yesterday as regards the weather, its continually raining here, hope its
better where you are.
My card today is one that l have made from the remains of an Ultimate kit that l purchased
from my local craft shop, and as we all do push leftovers to one side, thought l would get
something made out of it.
Starting with an A5 portrait white main card, and trimmed almost all the front off leaving a
small border, then attached a piece of acetate that l had run through my Calibur using a corner
embossing folder. On the inside l covered the back of the card with the matching Art Deco
paper, also the small inside border. Completed by attaching the decoupaged topper.
A quick and simple card but quite effective.
Thank you for visiting my blog, and if you have any comments they would be greatly appreciated.
Hope you visit again.

Text Wedding
Hi everyone, hope the weather is treating you well as it is here in Burton on Trent, its been gorgeous
today, do hope it continues.
My card for today has been designed for a wedding card, and is an A5 landscape white base card,
l then used Centura Pearlescent white with hint of silver and ran it through my Calibur using one of
my embossing boards and after die cutting two scalloped ovals matt it onto silver mirror card with
smaller scalloped oval cut out so as to give the impression of a frame. The Wedding dress image is
a stamp set l recently purchased and the dress is made up entirely using words appropriate to wedding
and the other text. Before attaching this to the main card l wrapped some organza ribbon around and
then tied a bow attaching a cross charm.
Thank you for visiting my blog and hope you will leave me comments.

Sympathy cards
Hi everyone,
here's a couple of cards that l have made from a Hunkydorey kit that my Mum passed onto me, to add
to my stock for my stall at the local hospital. They were pretty straight forward to make, and l think that the pictures explain it all really. The first one l made in a very delicate lilac, and the other is a
pale beige colour. It was a pleasant change to make these as l don't usually use kits.
Hope you like what you see and thank you for visiting my blog, all comments are welcome.

Steve's Birthday
Good Morning everyone, seems l'm really on a roll, ......hope you are o.k.
Its my son's birthday tomorrow, and as usual found it hard to decide what theme to do for him,
but as he has started to go back golfing thought, hey now that's an idea......
so, l chose a 8 x 8 card and printed off the backing papers from Hinny Bop C.D...."For the Men in your Life" ,there are two contrasting designs, so chose the darker one for the base, and die cut a shape out of the other inking the edges with Vintage Photo. I then stamped the image and coloured using my Promarkers, inking the edges once more. The SON was cut using my Cricut machine then finished off with some embellishments from my stash.
Thank you for visiting my blog, any comments would be very welcome....

Zentangled Shoes
Hi Folks,
Hey! .... don't go into shock l am posting again, can't believe it myself, hope l manage to keep it up...
Here's my card for today....
I have recently bought the new Chloe stamps, so thought l would use them with this card, l chose a
A5 black card and landscape, for the main matt l stamped the lovely flourish, that's included in the set, ...with my Momento black ink. For the image l used the same ink, then sat, working the Zentangle, l find this is a lovely relaxing technique. when finished l matted it onto black card and
attached a bit on the slant, finishing off with the text, which is also included in the set, this was also
matted onto black card. Quite an easy uncomplicated card, but quite affective.
Many Thanks for taking a look at my blog, any comments you have l would really appreciate.

Lady in Pink
Hi Everyone, hope you are well, weather back to normal as its raining at the mo, but still rather warm...
My card today is, yes you have guessed it, its an A5 portrait, and the main matt is some paper l had left from another card l have made that was printed from one of my C.D's...Crafters Companion, Paintbox Poppets, l then ran it through my Grand Calibur using my swirl embossing folder, then rubbed lighted over with Faded Lipstick distressed ink to accentuate the embossing. The image is a Saturated Canary digi-stamp, and coloured using my Spectrum Noirs, and cut using my new Tonic dies in a toning pearlescent card, inked the edges again with the same ink, also added the text in the smaller die. Finished off with placing card candy in the two opposite corners.
Hope have enjoyed visiting my blog, and if you have any comments they would be greatly appreciated.....Thank You.

Mark 2013
Hi Everyone, so sorry that l haven't posted for a while but whilst the weather is good l find that l am
rather busy in the garden etc, those weeds grow if nothing else does......anyway to my card......
This is a commission for my friends, grandson's birthday, and he is a motor bike fanatic, so l chose
to start with a Landscape A5 black card, l found some teal coloured card for the main colour, thought
it would be a nice change for a male card. I stamped the images onto white card in black and embossed with clear powder, added a little colour, teal and silver, then cut out, using my spellbinders, made a frame out of the same Teal card, and matted onto some black for definition. Before attaching my main matt l wrapped two pieces of black ribbon over the corners. Found some cogs in my stash and coloured with my Promarkers and rubbed a little of my bronze gilding wax to "age" them. His name, l cut using silver mirror card and shadowed with black, with my Cricut machine Here's hoping he likes what l have done.
Hope you have enjoyed taking a look at my blog, and that the long wait was worth it.....any comments would be gratefully received...Thank You

Triple Rose
Hi Everyone, hope you are all busy crafting........
My card for today is one that l made using the Zentangle effect, l saw it Mel working with it on Create and Craft and thought l would give it a go. The main card is black and landscape, l then
matted white that l had put through my dotty embossing folder then inked the edges with Worn
Lipstick to give definition. The three toppers l traced through a brass stencil in my stash, Zentangled
two in black and one in red and green, matt them onto black and placed them with the red and green one in the centre. Finished off with some card candy in both pink and black.
Thank You for visiting my blog and if you have any comments please leave them.

Baby Girl
Hi,
My card for today is a 8 x 8 scalloped card, and l covered with some spotty paper from my stash trimming the edges flush with the card, then tinted with Worn Lipstick distressed ink. The next layer was die cut, using my Grand nestie, from some plain pink card and put on an angle. The next layer
was also die cut from striped card. The topper is a Digi-stamp and coloured with both Promarkers
and Spectrum Noirs, and again die cut. I wrapped a white ribbon around the striped matt twice and
added a double bow with an attached baby charm. I am really pleased with this card, and hope you
feel the same....Thank You for visiting my blog and if you wish to leave any comments they would
be welcome.

Parchment floral
Hi
This card is a result from "playing" with my dies and parchment. I passed a course in parchment and love the finished effect, tho very intricate to do, especially the lace work.
I decided to have a go at using my dies with the parchment, and this is how it turned out, not bad for
the first time. For the main matt l used the waste from the die cutting, to ink through using my distressed ink...Shaded Lilac...l then stamped the sentiment onto parchment again and die cut it, it even embossed the dots. Embellished with the die cut flowers in a darker toning lilac, and a few
Gems. I quite like the delicate look, a nice change, and a lot easier than Parchment craft the traditional way. Many Thanks for taking a look and any comment would be welcome.

Blue Tit
Hi Everyone
Sorry for not posting as often, but had quite a few things to see to, Mum not been too well, and
also have baby-sat my Grt. Grandson, ......anyway back to my card for today.
The main card is black and is landscape, using some yellow l cut the first matt with my Xcut dies,
then cut another in black, and then the stamped image, which was stamped onto watercolour card,
after using my watercolour pencils l used Scattered Straw distressed ink to colour the edges. I off-
set the main image and added the text, cut out using plain and scalloped die in black, finished off with
placing some feathers underneath. Hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog, any comments you have
would be welcome....Thank You

Ethan's Christening
Hi Everyone, hope you are all o.k. and busy crafting.
My card today is one l have made for my Great Grandson's christening on Sunday.
The main card is cream and have used the same all through, the main matt l embossed with my
dotty folder, then l used my D-lites for the embellishments.....Floral corner one, Window three, and
Decorative Labels Eight. I cut the window twice once in a rainbow card so as to place the pieces behind to give effect of stained glass window. Stamped the Text and embossed with gold
powder, and l also used my gilding wax all through on the images. Really enjoyed making this card
and pleased with the finished product. I do hope you have enjoyed taking a look at my blog, please
feel free to leave any comments....Thank You

Art Deco in blue
Hi Everyone.
I seem at the moment to be making more 6 x 6 cards, as is this one.
Starting with a white base card, and matted with both blue and black, and the top matt is some from
my stash. The stamp set is yet another from my slowly decreasing pile of mags, my aim is to wade through all of them. The small embellishments are made from shrink plastic, and matt and layered
to tone in with the rest of the card. Quite a simple yet effective card, well l do hope you agree with me. Many thanks for visiting my blog, if you have any comments they would be greatly appreciated.

Sew Special
Hi Everyone
This is a really early post for me, Sunday morning too.......
Over the past few days l have being playing with the stamps that were on a magazine l previously
bought, Cardmaking and Papercraft, and result was these two cards, ideal for anyone who sews.
They both start off as 6 x 6 cards, and matt and layed in two different ways, l half and half and the other 4 quarters. The scissors l stamped onto silver mirror card and embossed with silver powder, so as to give the real scissor look, the others were of thread spools and wrapped some spare thread from my stash. I also used stamps to give the faux stitching around the outer area. Using one of my dies l cut a ribbon tag to layer the scissors and threaded ribbon thro. Added buttons to both to complete.
I hope you like what you see, and visit my blog again soon. Any comments gratefully received.

Rose Chipboard
Hi everyone, here's a real change for me........
Todays card starts as an A5 portrait white card, l made a narrow matt from black, then chose some red pearlescent card, stamped with black Stazon ink with the floral corner, from one of Creative Expressions stamp collection, in opposite corners, then ran it thro an embossing folder. The embellishments were made from chipboard, found in my stash, ....l painted them with red acrylic paint, then after it dried l painted with some pearl crackle paste,....yet more stuff from my stash,...once that had dried l stamped the images with black Stazon again, also from the same stamp collection. These were then matt and layered onto the same black and red card, then attached in a staggered order. Hope you have enjoyed looking at my blog, hope you return soon. Any comments are welcome...Thank You.

Just for You
Hello everyone, hey aren't l doing well posting more often,
For this card l chose a 6 x 6 white scalloped one, the image and papers were from a magazine l recently bought, "Cardmaking & Papercraft" issue 116, what drew me to it was the free stamps from Jayne Nestorenko, and a pad of papers too. I first stamped the little puppies, then masked them to place the flowers around them. Coloured them with my Spectrum Noirs, chose too different toning papers, inked the edges with Victorian Velvet distressing ink, and finshed off with a text tag, and bow and button. A suitable card for any occassion. I hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog and if you would like to leave any comment it would be gratefully received....Thank You.

Tattered Lace...Square
Hi Everyone, hope you are all well,
The card today is made using my new Tattered Lace dies, as normal l have chose an A5 Landscape
card, printed off the backing sheet off the Tattered Lace C.D., l then wrapped toning ribbon and made
"chocolate box" bow. The coloured backing for the die is also off a C.D. produced to use with the
dies, l turned the inner square frame and then placed the "for you". Quite a quick but very useful
card don't you think. Many thanks for taking a look at my blog, any comments you wish to make
will be fully appreciated.

Sewing Bits & Bobs
Hi,
Hope you are all well, and thankfully the weathers picking up too.
My card this time is A5 landscape and matted with black, l then inked my button embossing folder and then ran it thro my Calibur, the other piece l embossed silver mirror card with a sewing themed folder and trimmed them so there was a slight gap in between the two. The embellishments were cut
from a Xcut haberdashery die set, threaded some twine thro the buttons, and hey presto a nice card for a sewing enthusiast. Hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog and any comments you wish to make would be greatly appreciated....Thank You

Flower Burst
Hi Everyone, hope you are all well here's my latest post........
This card was one l found in my stash and it is a 5 x 7 oval aperture white card, the image is a Magnolia one l believe, and thought it just looked as if she was looking at something, so l decided to
use my D.lite die to make it look as if she's looking at the flowers, l chalked them whilst still in
the die, and then finished off with the flourish over the top corner, added one of my parchment
flowers and also a gem. Hope you liked visiting my blog and and comments you have would be
greatly appreciated....Thank You

Hi everyone, hope you are coping with this terrible snowy weather, roll on summer.
This card was made from a 6 x 6 white card, inked on the edges with Worn Lipstick distressed
ink, main matt was from my stash (got loads of 6 x 6 papers). The frame was waste when l cut a die,

look like she is swinging, also stamped out the cat to embellish the corner.
Hope you like this card and thank you for visiting my blog, and comments would be greatly

Dad's 65th
This card was an order from my hairdresser, for her Dad's 65th birthday.
The card itself is A5 landscape, satin gold, the image was printed from one of my C.D.'s,
l believe it was one of Lapashe's, the bamboo effect was part of the collection too. The main
topper is decoupaged and matted onto dark bronze card, I then used my Cricut for the 65 and Dad, cut
also from the same bronze card, and layered onto satin gold. I'm sure she won't mind me showing
you the finished card. Thank You for visitng my blog and any comments you wish to leave would
be greatly appreciated....

Gift Box
Hi everyone,....
This is completely different to my other crafting/cards, just felt like a change, l had in my stash this
small round box that was plain white in colour, ready for decorating, so using more from my stash
l chose some lovely pale pink paper and partnered it with a stronger pink for contrast. I punched out
a ribbon border, using my Martha Stewart punches and used my nesties for the top, finshing off with
some toning flowers made by using my set of Creative Expressions stamps. I lined the inside with the
same contrasting pink paper, and added tissue and tablet of guest soap, this l hope to sell at my stall at my local hospital....Pic. of the inside below

a ribbon border, using my Martha Stewart punches and used my nesties for the top, finshing off with
some toning flowers made by using my set of Creative Expressions stamps. I lined the inside with the
same contrasting pink paper, and added tissue and tablet of guest soap, this l hope to sell at my stall at my local hospital....Pic. of the inside below

Olly's 21st
Good Morning everyone, hope everyone is o.k.
This card was made for my Grandson's 21st, as he is at Uni. taking Game design studies, l got my thinking cap on and found this set of stamps from Dimensions. Starting with a 8 x 8 scalloped square card l stamped text on the background and tinted the edges with Back Soot distressing ink, and also stamped 21 over the silver mirror card with black stazon then ran it thro my cuttlebug with the dotty folder. The images were all stamped onto black card and embossed with silver, then cut out individually and placed on top. He was chuffed to bits with it (it was his birthday on Thurs.)
Hope you have enjoyed looking at my blog, and any comments would be gratefully received....thank you.

Liverpool Fan
Hi everyone,
This card was an order from a friend and l was asked to make it for a fanitical Liverpool fan, l googled the photo's etc. and used my Docrafts digi designer to make the background. Then using my
Cricut machine l cut out his name and age, matt and layered onto silver mirror card to complete the card. Not the usual kind of card l make but as it was requested l agreed.
Thank You for visiting my blog, any comment would be gratefully reaceived...

Wedding Day
Hi,
Hope everyone is o.k. and happily crafting. My new Great-Granson has arrived, and what a whopper he was, weighing in at 10lbs. 5ozs. Thankfully both Mum and baby are well, they've named him Ethan.....anyway back to my blog.
I made this card an A5 , and used one of my Brass stencils for the corners and cut sections out, therefore enabling me to put underneath some red card. The topper was a stamp from Crafters Companions Swalk range, coloured in with my Spectrum Noirs, then l finished off with the tag with text in and once again matted onto the same red. Hope you like what you see and have enjoyed visiting my blog..Thank You. Any comments would be really appreciated.

Rosie's 17th Birthday
Hello everyone, don't die of shock, l did say l would be more attentive to my blog,
This is another card from the same C.D. of the last post, and yes it is for the other twin grand-daughter, Rosie, and once again l have used itmes from a Hunkdorey kit,and attached a pocket on the inside for her treat. Think we all have stash from days gone by and my new years resolution it to use them up and also "play" with other items previously bought. Hope you have enjoyed taking a look at my blog and if you have any comments they would be greatly appreciated....Thank You.

Abi's 17th Birthday
Good Morning everyone, sorry but l have really been neglecting my blog, but l intend to be more dedicated, and hope you will forgive me.
This card was made for one of my grand-daughters, who is a twin, l made it from a new C.D. that
l have bought recently....HOTP -100 movable parts cards. The original was a little small so l adjusted
it and it finished off being 8" x 6" and l used card and toppers from one of the kits from Hunkydorey,
l usually give them money so thought that the pocket inside would house that.
Hope you have liked what you have seen and thank you for visiting my blog, any comments would be
acceptable...thank you

Anniversary Card
Hi Everyone, Sorry l know it been a while since last posting but not had a very good few weeks, Mum was poorly just after Xmas, and now the past two weeks l've had a pesky cough, but hopefully that is coming to an end....so onwards and upwards as they say.
This card is one that l have made using my new Tonic die set that l bought before Xmas, using the Cornflower die and white set with a topper that l found in my stash, the base matt is pale pink, and using my Cuttlebug All in one set l embossed the corners, finished off with pale pink gems for the flower centres...job done. very quick card.I made an envelobox for it so as to protect the flowers. Hope you have enjoyed taking a look at my blog, and any comments you have would be welcome
