Black and white

Today my card is 8x8, my first layer is black core'dinations card to which I added an embossed regency swirl design onto white core'dinations which was sanded back first. I used a die'sire die for the topper, and creative expression flower stamps. The swirl is the die'sire leaf swirl which I cut one in black and one in white and layered to look like a shadow. The corners were teh waste from the large die.

Shades of Blue

My card for today is a 6 x 6 card.
Starting off with this white card, l used my newly acquired Patchwork masks of Ali's.
Before placing the mask l tinted the background with Faded Jeans distressed ink pad very lightly and then stamped an assortment of flowers with the same ink. Then placing the mask over l then inked over again in the same colour to make a little darker, then removed the mask when l was happy with the finished shade. The butterflies were some stamps that l had for a while and loved the fact that they were three different sizes, these were coloured once again with my Cosmic Shimmer drawing inks, and then attached and also added some Stickles butterfly trails.

Ruby Wedding

Hi,
Now this card is a complete change, this was an order from my Hairdresser for her Mum and Dad's Ruby Wedding.
The base card is a Red, A5 landscape one, the main matt is some Centura White pearlescent card and l ran it through my Ebosser using a lovely corner embossing folder.  The heart and the letters were cut using my Cricut machine, l am now using this and many more items that l have thanks to my Skype friend Sheila, she has come up with a schedule plan for us to use different crafty stuff each day, good idea don't you think....anyway back to my card....I positioned the heart in the top right hand corner as you can see, then the letters were placed but found l had got a bit of a space in the bottom corner, so l made the little floral spray and added the three heart pins to finish.
Thank You for visiting my blog and hope you will return, any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Girl with Lambs

Hi there.....

After going through my many boxes of stash l came across some of these cards, l believe they are called, twizzle cards, perhaps l'm wrong had them so long l forgot...haha.
Quite a quick and easy card once again, l found this lovely rosebud paper and thought is so suitable for such a lovely little girl. It was just trimmed to show the white of the card and around the oval aperture, the image is a decoupage and was attached to the deep pink card that was cut with one of my scalloped oval dies.
Hope you like this simple little card and if you have any comments the would be appreciated...Thank You

Fabulous Day

Hello everyone, hope you are all busy crafting.....

As l am in Little Claire's club thought you might like to see this card that l made using the February issue set of stamps, an ideal little card for a gardener.
Starting with a plain, white, 6 x 6 card, l chose to use shades of lilac this time, so the first matt is a deeper shade, the next layer is some paper once again from my stash. I stamped the image onto white card, coloured using my Cosmic Shimmer drawing inks, these are lovely to use as they give a sheen to the colour. Then using one of my dies l cut it out, then tinted with Milled Lavender and layered it onto the same card as the first matt. After adding the text banner, l added a white candy in each corner.

Blue Civil Partnership

Hi there everyone,
sorry this is another card made from a KanBan kit, l have recently been asked for cards for this occasion on my craft stall so have made a few as a standby.
For this one l started with a A5, white portrait card and the first matt is silver mirror card, then the second was some two tone paper from the same kit and l wrapped a length of ribbon down where the two shades meet and slid a buckle on the l had cut from the same mirror card, using one of my dies.
The centre piece once again l stuck the inner design flat, then the outer frame on 3d foam pads. I finished it off with three silver candy and the double hearts are a peel-off.

Happy Anniversary

This card, although reasonably simply l feel is quite appropriate for any anniversary.
For this one l chose a white, A5, portrait card. The base matt l cut from some paper from my stash, l then ran it through with a corner swirl embossing folder and then just ran over lightly with Barn Door distressed ink to lift the embossing detail. The topper was from a kit that l had purchased a while ago and it is a KanBan kit. The centre l lay flat and the frame l used 3d foam pads, all onto some lovely deep pink satin card to give the overall lift. Thought it needed something in one corner thus l added the pale pink swirl and the deeper pink flower made from Tonic petal pairs.
Hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog and if you have any comments they would be appreciated, Thank You.

A Little Something

Hi, here's my card for today

For this one l chose a 6 x 6 scalloped edged square white card, for the base matt cut a little smaller than the actual card, and ran it through my Ebosser using the small dot embossing folder but placed it so the bottom third is left plain, l then used Milled Lavender distressed ink to tint the edges, l then cut two more matts using my Tonic layering square dies both the plain and the scalloped, and also tinted these edges. The stamped image is a Woodware stamp, it is only one flower but l masked and stamped the second. Coloured the leaves with my Promarkers and some of the flower detail with my Sakura glitter pens and others l used some of my different shades of purple gems. Finished off stamping the sentiment, also included in the stamp set, and added another two gems at each end.

On the River

Hi there everyone,
This card is yet another one that l have made using the project from 'Little Claire' club.
This one was the December 2013 project.
The card itself is a 6 x 6 white one with the square aperture, with acetate fixed to give the
window effect. A frame was cut out from the blue gingham paper for the front so as to
give the frame effect. The river scene was stamped onto a square piece of card and then
coloured using a selection of both my Promarkers and Spectrum Noirs. The milk churn
and swan was coloured then cut out and attached to the front corners. By stamping the
text messages around the edges completed the card.
Many thanks for visiting my blog, any comments would be appreciated.

My Best Friend

Hello there,
here's my post for today, you have probably grasped it that l am now scheduling, l find this is
the best way for me to keep up my blog, hope you find this o.k.
The card for today is a 6 x 6 white scalloped edged card, and l inked the edges with Tumbles
Glass distressed ink, to tone in with the base matt.   Then using once again my Tonic die, l
cut the patterned circle without using the outer die, so this was left within the card, love this
effect and will be using it more. The main shape was cut using once again the outer die only.
The decoupage was from my stash, l had 'found' a box already made up, so these are going
to be used up eventually. I completed this card by attaching some silver candy in each corner.
Hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog, any comments would be appreciated, thank you.

Musical

Hi there
For my card today l have chosen to post this one....
Quite a change again, and probably more for the men than any, though l do appreciate there
are female musicians too.
The card itself is an A5 portrait, white one, although it doesn't show very well the base matt is
beige pearlescent, and was run through with my A4 musical embossing folder.... The musical
instruments are Xcut dies with the matching stamps, a recent set that l purchased from my local
craft shop. These matted and layered onto the same beige card and with the brown background,
l used a border embossing folder with the 'On your birthday', and made a banner with it to
complete.

Love Birds

Hi hope you are all well....
My card today is made from one of the projects from Little Claire club, of which l am now a
member, its a lovely club and once a month you get stamps and everything you need to make
a card.
This one was January's and it was called 'Swirly Birds'
The main card is A6 in size, and the front was cut off half way, the first matt is brown, and
the other is a pinky/purple with white dots on, these were placed on the inside and the front
then l stamped the chosen design, of which you have three of, for the colouring l chose
Cosmic Shimmer drawing inks, these have been in my draw for ages but have now started
to use them. Finished off with White candy in each corner.

Little Angel

Hi there,
My post for today is quite different to what l have been doing of late....quite a bit more work
to it than just printing off  like the last one.
Starting with a 6 x 6 scalloped edged card, l used one of my many Tonic dies, and cut half off
the front to give a lovely patterned edge, then ran it through again so the pattern is completed
on the other half with embossing, l then backed it with the pretty pink, using the cut edge of
the same die. This made a lovely centre to be able to put my decoupage of the little angel.
To finish off this card l thought that it needed something in the corners, so l looked amongst
my dies and found this lovely one by Spellbinders....
Thank you for visiting my blog and hope you have liked what you have seen, any comments
would be appreciated.

Lavender Ladies

Hello everyone, here's my card for today.......

This was quite a simple one, ideal for any quickie requests.....
The main card is a 6 x 6 white scalloped edged card.
The whole images were from one of Crafters Companions C.D.'s, there isn't a lot l can say about
this one, as you only have to cut out and then complete with your own layout idea. This would
be ideal for any occasion, and of course you can made it to any colour you wish with the
colouriser.
Many thanks for visiting my blog, any comments you wish to leave would be welcome.

Blue Flowers

My card for today is the very first attempt on using Ali's Patchwork templates.
The main card is white, and portrait, for the main matt l found a lovely shade of turquoise within my stash. The paper l used for the template was from a pad of lovely shade of yellow, and this one was a
swirly one, Before cutting out l ran this paper through with a patchwork embossing folder, quite
appropriate don't you think, then l used a little of Scattered Straw distressed ink over to highlight
the pattern. After attaching to the whole of this l stamped out the sentiment in a similar colour and
clear embossing powder. To make the finished card l though it needed some flowers so these were
die-cut and layered with a brad for the centres, and also a couple of silver sprays to complete.

Just for You

Hi there, here's my card for today........

The base card is a white, landscape A5 size, and using my Keepsake embossing board l embossed the decorative frame.  The topper is another one made by first cutting out the circle, then using a border punch l made the lacey edge, this was in white also, but l tinted the edges with a Artiste ink pad, colour...Gold shimmer, a new one that l have recently purchased.  I then matt it onto some pale turquoise card. The band across is cut from the same card and l used another border punch for the edges. The flowers etc. are a set of Tattered Lace, and cut from  toning shades of yellow, the openwork leaves were matted onto the same turquoise card. This was then finished off with some pearly dots.  I did stamp the words....Just for You on the ribbon but doesn't show very well in picture.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at my blog, and any comments would be appreciated.....Thank You.

Lillies

Hi there everyone,

Surprise......this is not a kit.......haha....

For this card l chose the golden tan colour, pearlescent card, and positioned landscape mode.
For the bottom right corner l used one of my Keepsake embossing boards, something else that l haven't used for a while. The topper was a circle that l had cut out, and after watching both Mel and Jodie on C & C punching around the edges, l thought l would give it a go and this was the finished product, was quite pleased with myself. The Lilies are one of Chloes stamp sets, l stamped the spray a couple of times and also the large one, then coloured, using a collection of both Promarkers and Spectrum Noirs. I cut the large one to decoupage it and positioned the sprays around the edge.
I do hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog and any comments would be appreciated, Thank You.

Good Luck

Hi, the everyone, hope you are all well, here's my card for today

Sorry once again this is from a kit,
The main card is created from three strips of the card that was included, and the toppers were die cut, l played quite a while with the placing of them and it finished up as the design that you can see. Not much more l can say really, but l do hope you like it, ideal for graduations as that time is coming near now.
Thank you for visiting my blog, and any comments would be welcome.

Happy Birthday

Hi everyone,

I must apologise, this card was what we call a quickie, as l have a number of kits lying around, as we all do l think, l thought l would make a few up for my stall stock.
The base card was the patterned design, and the main feature was die cut into frames etc. so l just used two of them so as to give a little lift and layered with foam pads. I finished off with a couple of quilled flowers that l had got in my ready made stock, also pearls within the centres.
Hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog, any comments would be appreciated, Thank You.

Rocking Horse

Hi there,
The card for today is yet another one using one of my magazines, and could also be done in either colour if known what the baby is...boy or girl.  The background was made by stamping the floral over and over in both Rusty Hinge and Wild Honey distressed inks. The image was stamped in the Rusty Hinge and then l used a water brush to lightly drag the ink to make it look water-coloured. Both these were matted onto some brown card and layered up. The tag and banner was also made from the same stamps, and inked and matted in the same way. finished off with the letters...Baby, coloured with my Promarkers in a dark brown.
Thank you for visiting my blog, you are welcome to leave any comments.

Red Rose

For this card l used stamps from one of my many Craft Stamper mags, once again pushed to one side not used. The main image is stamped and embossed with gold detail powder, and l made the frame from a decorative strip. I used distressed ink, Barn Door for the colouring, and the edges of the base card. I used some lovely embossed red card from my stash for the matt, then using Xcut dies to cut the shapes for the toppers. Finished off with the gold trimmed red satin ribbon, and added two heart topped pins.  Suitable for any occasion, including ruby wedding.

Embosed leaves

Good morning folks,

The idea to make this card was after visiting my local craft shop and they had one similar on show that they had made during a workshop, so after asking how it was made l thought l would have a go, and this is how it finished.

The main front of the card, l started with some silver mirror card, and using a few different colours of Tim Holtz alcohol inks onto a felt applicator and randomly dabbed all over until you are happy with your mix. I then ran it through my Ebosser with an embossing folder, then l used cotton buds and some blending solution and carefully wiped off the ink from the embossed areas, you can do as much or as little of this as you want. This was then matted and layered onto a card and finished off with the tonal flower.

Ethan's 1st Birthday

This card is really special to me as it is for my Great Grandson's first birthday for today the 2nd of February. For this one l chose to go onto Docrafts Digital designer programme, and chose this lovely image of the me to you teddy dressing up. Colours are a pale green and pale blue. I printed out the image three times them made into decoupage, adding some googly eyes. Once again l went onto my Cricut machine for the letters for his name and the number one.
I am sure he will be thrilled to bits with it also with his presi'  too.
Many thanks for visiting my blog any comments would be welcome.

Civil Partnership

My card for today is an order l was given for a civil partnership/wedding, all the person said was that she didn't want "wedding" on, and as it was happening in the spring put daffodils on....l ask you how can you put daffodils on...haha. So with this in mind l decided to use the colour instead and can up with this design. The topper was printed with her own words as the sentiment, l then used one of my Spellbinder dies to cut it, inking the edges to give lift. the floral spray was made by using Tattered Lace floral set. I was quite pleased at the finished card, and l do hope you agree.

Thank you for visiting my blog any comments are welcome.
